It is an uninterruptible power supply that is supposed to run for 12 minutes after a power outage/surge.

I have lost the software disc somewhere in the boxes of my house, and it would appear that on the energizer ups site, the only software available for download is the (optional?)FileSaver app.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this particular model or something similar. Or if anyone has any idea where I can grab the software to make this thing work. We've been having a couple of surges here recently and my pc keeps shuttin down when im in the middle of something.

After searching their customer support area for about 10mins, I still have a couple of other questions as well:

Is there any way to get the battery to work without installing the software?
Is the software even compatible with vista?
Is this thing a total piece of crap and even if the battery does work, will it be powerful enough to sustain the rig listed in the lower left of my sig?

i think my problem is battery death. o wells.
 
Check the voltage on battery.

Also it's UPS it doesn't need any kind of software to work (software in UPS is for monitoring, remote controla and or controled shutdown of servers)
