Hi guys,

I am currently looking for a decent all around good enclosure, dont really wanna spend a lot but what I basically need and cant find is an enclosure that will work with desktop(IDE and SATA) and notebook hard drives.

Is theres such a gem ? Best if it can be bought at newegg.com

Well, notebook and ide drives have different interfaces and are typically different sizes. You can adapt notebook drives to work as a std IDE drive with some extra hardware. That's about it though.
 
I don't think an enclosure exists, but you might be able to work something with these. they are basically the same, just choose the manufacturer you prefer.
