While most record companies are complaining about piracy, EMI has made yet another move in an attempt to sell more music. They have signed a deal with Snocap. The move allows for music stores to be added to websites, including social networks like MySpace profiles.

That means stores will appear on the web sites and MySpace pages of EMI artists. Far more interesting, though, is the fact that fans could place MyStores “widgets” on their own sites and MySpace pages, although Snocap would still control sales.

I'm telling you guys, EMI is handling DRM and piracy correctly. People are more than happy to buy digital music and be honest if the restrictions are reasonable and the price is right.

I agree with you. I think these guys are really working on their model, and doing it right.

WTF. A company with a brain? One that doesn't hold on to a business model created just before the signing of the delcaration of independence?

holy shit, someone get me a beer. America is going so European, quick someone call Bill O'rielly so he can single handedly stop the madness on his fucking own!
