If you swear by using EMET to harden Windows against zero-day exploits, be aware that EMET 4.1 has been completely and totally bypassed:

I had lots of problems with deploying EMET 4.1 at one client that I ended up having to uninstall it. SEHOP enabled on IE 10 or 11 resulted in IE crashing when loading, every single time, even with loading IE without addons enabled. Same with other programs like QuickBooks, printing from Adobe, etc. EMET 4.0 worked fine however.
