have an t3406 from emachines with a D865GVHZ mboard. This box came with xp but I installed a new drive and installed w2k. everything except the n/w works fine. I have installed the intel chipset sw but the onboard lan does not work at all .
Pl help. emachines is of no help at all - they have given me different solutions at different times and eventually told me the box is not compatible with w2k and I have to upgrade my video,audio and install a pci lan to make the lan work under w2k !
