Need to find space and a proper case for it :p Caseless doesn't really work me in my current room. To say things are cramped is putting it mildly :(

I should get a uATX mini tower or so for this Q6600... alas, these cash flow issues :(
 
I have the same cash flow probelem. I did make almost enough today for that gainward gtx260. And i did get a old althon x2 on smp last night. ill know in a few hours if it helped much. takes a day and 1/2 to do a3 6024

If I had some modding tools I could mod one of these old cases I have lying around :3

I'm not adding anything yet, I think my quad is just getting more A3 units or so. I got some more donations from some really friendly [H] F@H people (thanks, Tobit! :D ) and will soon get another Q6600 system folding. Should be another 5-6k PPD :)

No GPU yet in this system, though. Any offers? ;)
 
Added a 1.8 ghz core2 duo laptop on smp last night. this should allow me to match your output till you get your q6600 online. here's what i have running. i5-750 @3.8 smp, athlon 64 duel 2.2ghz smp, athlon duel core laptop 2.0 ghz smp, core2 duo 1.8 ghz smp, gtx260, gts250
 
Well, my second Q6600 system is on hold until I can find the P4 cable for this XClio PSU as Tiger apparently forgot to send it along. That, or a replacement PSU. I don't seem to have any lying around :(

That'd have worked too, but this retarded XClio PSU only has the ATX and a PCIe connector hardwired, and the modular cable with the P4/P8 connector was still at Tiger's house :p

Oh, I already talked with him about it and he'll send it as soon as he's able :) Should be some time this week.

...I still want to have a 'talk' with whoever decided to not hardwire the P4/P8 connector on this PSU, but thought that a PCIe connector (two 6-pins, actually) should be hardwired. Most hare-brained decision after using an 80 mm fan on a 950 Watt PSU :p
 
Hurry up and get that other q6600 online [H]ydra is comming for you. that should keep you ahead of him and maybe catch me a little. And i borged a couple pentium 4's from my sister and cousin over the weekend.

How much does a P4 do these days? 250 PPD? :p
 
probably but both togetheir should do about 150,000 a year. I fold because its a good cause but it's the competition that i truly love! How many ppd is that q6600 worth and will you overclock it?

It's OCed to 3.1 GHz by Tigerbiten already. It does about 6k PPD.

Nah, I'm guessing Tiger sent the cable by regular snail mail, which means it'll take about 1-2 weeks to get here from the UK :D
