Our France division has two of these machines (model number of CM3ST-PR), and the coffee these make are sooo much better than the American coffee, so much so that I seriously want to buy one for myself and perhaps our IT department at Corporate.

Problem: I'm having a hard time finding this machine on amazon.com and Google for purchasing and shipping to US. :(

What I like about this machine:
  • Uses small square-shaped cartridges (which come in cafinated and decaffinated versions) that you could easily order in bulk and easily store without worrying too much about expiration
  • Has a small tank that you can fill with a bottle or two of water
  • Electrically heats water
  • Makes a small cup of coffee/espresso (the French people call our coffee as 'dirty coffee' or something because we use so much water); I have to agree and I really love it
  • I don't have to worry about a pot of brewed coffee going to waste

Does anyone have any ideas where I could get a machine like this for/in the US? Or if someone could buy one in Europe and ship it over to me? The other thing to remember is that I need to be able to buy the cartridges en masse. :(

Guys, you have posted this in the wrong forum. And since there is absolutely no forum here at the [H] that does not involve computers and/or media and/or consumer electronics (and I believe that coffeemakers are not any of those), this thread really belongs to the paid-subscription General May[H]em forum.

With that said, if you want espresso, Keurig does not offer such a machine at all. The K-cup models just make American-style coffee (or tea or hot cocoa). Even more worrying: Many of the K-cups barely contain enough coffee for a 6-ounce brew (based on the coffee measuring standard of 8.25 grams of ground coffee per 5.07 ounces of water). However, the default brew size on the earlier Keurigs is 8 ounces. No wonder why earlier reviews of the K-cup coffees were less than enthusiastic.

Newer Keurigs such as the K75 (formerly B75) do have a selection of three sizes (6 ounces, 8 ounces or 10 ounces). The Keurig lineup also recently changed its model number designations: K10 (formerly B31) for the Mini Plus, K40 (formerly B40) for the Elite (which now has three cup sizes instead of two cup sizes on the original Elite) and K60 (formerly B60) for the Special Edition.

Thanks. This is General Hardware, but closing thread because of you. :D
