Hi I'm looking for some information on maybe the most distinguished or an industrial source for electroplating solutions rather than retail. I've moved away from paying full retail for most things and I think that these solutions are overpriced as far as my searches have turned up. If anyone has any exp or could drop a few links it would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for black chrome(or black nickel?), but anything that you could provide to expand my search would be a big help. Im aware of most of the sites provided by google searches that provide kits etc but a transformer I can come up with myself I really just need the most important component the solution itself.

If you have a federal tax number you could check out any number of jewelry tools supply companies many of the carry the solutions you are interested in. RioGrande tools, Swest inc., Gesswein, etc. and try specialized search engines like this:

Help me understand something here. Do you have a large quantity of things to get chromed or are you simply trying to find cheap prices for a mod you are doing?

If the thread sat here and died I would have been happier with that. Also, not everyone here is a kid and I don't like retail and you don't know my plans for the future. Go ahead and waste your money cause you won't do a little research. Retail is crime...........

Let me just end by saying it'd be a good idea to consult a yellow-pages and find a local distributor of those solutions. I'm not sure if they're considered hazardous or not but that'd probably hike the price up quite a bit (if it has to be sent in the mail) so a local distributor would probably give you better rates (assuming this is business to business).
My original suggestion to bite the bullet and pay retail would be a quicker way to obtain it. Unless you go through these solutions like they're water, the discount isn't worth the time wasted finding a distributor.
