EL Wire help

I am looking to build a mau5head and want to light it up with EL wire but I'm not exactly sure what I need, I know I need about 4m of green el wire, thought this thickness seems best:

I am looking to illuminate the perimeter of the mau5head and the mouth, so 2 seperate pieces of el wire, what else do I need, I'm guessing 2 endcaps (1 for each wire), does the power pack come with the connectors i need to solder onto the el wire? Do I need a module inverter as well? Do I need a heat shrink tube?

And can anyone explain what a CV lux connector set and U extrusion is: http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/index.php?cPath=522_450

Sorry for all the questions, thanks for any help......oh and that site is the only one in my country that supplies el wire and accesories, so I can only get whats on there.
