I have bought a used EK-D5 Dual Top, the seller did not send the O-ring that is necessary to put between the block and D5 pumps.

Question can I put the original O-Ring that comes with the D5 pump between pump and the D5 Dual top?
One of my pumps is a Swiftech 655 original top and the other one is D5 with a EK-D5 X-Top Rev2.

I'm pretty sure that I can't install the EK Dual without the O-rings, anyone have any idea where to get them?
I propably should return the product to seller for a refund....

Have you asked the seller to send the o-ring? As long as the older orings fit i dont see why they wouldnt work.

Yes I have asked him to look for the O-Rings, draining my loop and opening up my pumps to find out the O-Rings don't fit would be sad work.

So I would rather know in beforehand if the original O-Rings fit, also both my pumps/O-Rings are 4years old so I would rather use fresh O-Rings(according seller the EK Top is unused)

Grainger, McMaster or your local hw store (not likely Lowes or Homedepot). If you want to give your existing o-rings a shot, run your pump outside your system. Don't install it until you're sure they hold. But as long as they fit in there and are dry-rot they should be fine. It's worth a shot to at least test them.

Thanks for help, what does "dry-rot" mean?

I'll try to contact EKWB and see if the O-Rings are the same so I don't have to disassemble my loop.

Dry-rot just means the rubber has started to break down and crack.

It won't hurt to contact EK, but honestly it's not a tight tolerance fitment. Face-to-face o-ring sealing is the most basic. I think you'll be fine with what you've got. And if not and you get a little weeping, then it's not too much work to just take it apart again. I mean, who here doesn't like to tinker!?! Haha :D
