EK 8800gtx block question

Hey all
I haven't used EK blocks before, so I'd like to know if the full cover block requires a backplate or not.
If yes, will it come shipped with the block?
If no, I'd still like to have one to prevent the PCB from bending, haven't seen them on Petra's or anywhere though :D
 
just ordered it, I sure hope so

(too bad I'm fresh out of AS ceramique and they don't sell it at pc stores here:mad:)
 
It doesn't come with a backplate but this doesn't matter because when you fix the block correctly, the block stiffness itself will keep the card straight. It come with everything you need so don't worry about that.
