EV2736 has been sort of superseded by EV2750, but its frameless design might not have been the best choice for contrast. Again, given the changes to EV2736 (glow free to meh), it's hard to be assured that newer is better. Anyway, I wouldn't hold my breath for a replacement to EV3237 and wouldn't make up my mind until it shows up.
CG318 is a whole different proposition, for a very different market where the alternative is probably a Sony OLED or Flanders, i.e. "gotta spend money to make money". I do hope some of it trickles down, because it's supposed to have better contrast due to new panel tech.
Anyway, a CG277 costs about 1800 euros, but Eizo released EV7250 at 800 euros and FS2735 at 1000 euros, so they might release a new 32" display below 2000 euros.
