Hi,

I recently buy a Eizo Ev2455-BK and a I1 Display PRO, and i receive my screen last week.

I use this monitor for photo, casual gaming, coding.

Actually, i make a first calibration using dispcalgui with ubuntu, and using the iprofiler software from xrite on windows.

What other interesting test/review can i do, with what software ?

Can you give me some advice to get the best of this screen for photo ?

How do you like EV2455 in gaming, smoothness and responsiveness? Notice any blurring in fast scenes or the like?
What coating does it have? Is it semi-glossy? I hope it doesn't have heavy grainy/matte coating and it is not glossy like mirror either.

First of all, is it eye-friendly enough? I'm really fed up with my eye burning monitor (LG W2220P).
Besides, where did you buy it (I assume that you're from France)?
 
Let dispcalgui spend a little more time on it. Kind of odd you get such high profile check delta e for a well behaved screen.
mid cal speed is ok, but you can try slow.
Can try curves + matrix or XYZ LUT +matrix. For profile test patch , pick one around at least 200ish.

Verify the profile using measurement report option.

For colorimeter correction try to use wled edr, there is a option to import correction file from other software.
 
So..this is the better but much more expensive alternative to Dell U2415 in US? I like the ability to scale to 16:9 and such for movie, console...U2415 cant do that. PWM is only 20% and below and 18k Hz, which is great. Same panel as U2415. Anyone in US got this?
 
Btw, anyone ever seen them go on sale like the Dell's? Is it possible to use U2415 with EV2455? Since they are the same panel..should look about the same right?

I need 3 monitor set up but i'm trying to reduce the cost...
