Einstein Badges

I'm making a simple proposal for Einstein badges. See my post here in E@H message boards.

I'm not sure how difficult it is for the project admin to set up the badges, assuming the admin agrees with this badge theme or perhaps it falls on deaf ears....

I believe badges can motivate crunchers and perhaps attract more volunteers.

added some suggestion in addition in Einstein-Forum to extend the number of badges based on the pattern. (I like that badge idea)

Gilthanis, I reached out to one of the Einstein project supports/admins (Shawn Kwang) last month about badges and below is his reply. It appears it is not as straightforward and is not on their top list of things-to-do.

Not too sure about the level of difficulty to implement badges in C@H. I'm sure there are good ideas around. Here is my thought: list of top largest galaxies found so far. Start with the smaller galaxy and perhaps end with a black hole. Need to do some research and reference the approx galaxy sizes to NASA website.
