A few minutes ago my computer crashed and shut off. When I finally got it to boot up again I went to look in the event log to see if something was logged. There wasn't anything immediately obvious that would lead me to the cause of the crash.

The following errors/warnings I did find though were somewhat disturbing;

Error 8/2/06 6:32:19PM-- the driver detected an error on device \SCSI\M5287
Warning 8/2/06 6:32:19PM -- An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\D during a paging operation.
Error 8/6/06 1:57:41PM-- the driver detected an error on device \SCSI\M5287
Warning 8/6/06 1:57:41PM -- An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\D during a paging operation.


Is this a bad sign or just something that just happens occasionally?
 
i noticed that with my first raptor. same error, run DL diagnostics and it will show the drive has failed something. after that, call up WD and RMA it.
 
Ran the Quick Scan and no problems found, running Extended Scan now, has an hour left on it.
