Ok today i took out my vid card and thought i'd re-wire my computer since it was a huge mess.

I re wired everything nice and neat but now my pc won't start up anymore...

It starts up but theres no signal to the monitor, and my cd drive (master device) is making the buzzing sound it makes at start up once every 10 seconds....

i've tried different vid cards, reseated the ram, cleared the cmos, and even changed psu's and still nothing.

Does anyone have any idea what may be wrong? cpu or mobo fried?
 
Make sure your board is not making contact, to be certian that the board is not shorting out.
 
Question for ya...
What kinda thermal paste (if any) were you using for your machine?
After seeing a lot of these similar problems (and myself experiencing it RIGHT NOW!), I wonder if Arctic Silver 5 may be the culprit...
