EDTV resolution on windows 8

Hi,
I have a plasma EDTV connected via hdmi to my pc. The plasma's resolution is 852x480, which is of course not available through the display settings in windows.

How do I get this resolution set?

Won't scaling it down that far make the Windows interface unusable?

As far as I know the lowest Win8 it will let you go is 1024x768
 
I have a Gainward hd 4850. The thing is that all resolutions work, even 640x480 but 852x480 and the closest 848x480.
