Edit button in News

Why can't we edit our posts in the news section?

It would help get rid of a lot of double posts, and self quoting.

How about you review your post before you submit? You know you can't edit it so prepare accordingly.

Kyle designed it like that to make you think before you post with no chance of edit.

Simply contact a forum mod and they will do that for you.

You can change it. But you have to do it fast after you post it. After a certain time you can't change the thread title then unless the mod does it. I think it is like 30 seconds you have to change it?

But then on the other hand it gives the mods something to do also......

Thats what I don't get.I had to get oldie to change my title yesterday and if your gonna let us change it anyway,why bother a mod to do it.It would be much less trouble just to let us edit it.It would cut down on wasted space and keep threads more current.

There is nothing worse than looking at a title and see the item was sold two weeks ago.Think of how much trouble it would be for the mods if every member got his title changed when he needed to.You sold whats was on your title.Mods, please delete the title and put this.That would make a mod sick to death.It would be a almost never ending thing for a mod to keep up with.
