Seriously, what the fuck? "Because we want you to think about what you're really going to say" is a bullshit excuse that doesn't work, because everywhere else in the forum has an edit button...so no one ever thinks "oh man, I had better really think about what I'm going to say here."

Whatever, + post count in front page news.

So, feedback, add an edit button.

I would imagine it is to stop flame baiting post in the news section. As there are some that get a kick out of bait posting here. Say something to start it and then go edit it out. Although the mods can still see the original post. About the only way would be to quote it in your post to keep it open to the public.

Perhaps a 15 second edit would be nice there. But it is what it is, honestly.

Think before you post, seems simple enough to do.

Or...they could add an edit button.

Because just a few minutes ago in the Mappoint thread I said MS was good at two things, Windows and Xbox...then I used Microsoft office and thought to myself "Hey, MS does Office pretty well, too, I could have added that."

But, instead of a simple edit you have to make multiple posts.

Anyway, edits aren't always about flame baiting, but because somethings come to your mind later.

Ironically you may want to use the edit button on your first post. You mad bro? Why all the in necessary drama?

Or you could stop using the forums. That's always an option as well.

Drama? I said fuck and bullshit...?

It is possible that you have found times and places where using those words in that way will get you what you want, but attempting to persuade mods to change the way a forum works is, I guarantee you, not one of them.

OP- are you feeling the love?

It was a decent suggestion and absolutely in necessary delivery.

Thats how I always talk. But, since this thread is going to be doing more harm than good, I'm going to close it. It doesn't need to be open for people to see my suggestion.
