Sorry for the inconvenience here as I feel this is a very stupid question.

I tried to add a poll in a thread that I started but I could not figure it out.

Can anyone please help out?
 
You can edit for a short amount of time, 15 minutes or so. After that, you will have to get the forum Mod to make the edit for you.
