Edge browser scroll bar is almost invisible

Really annoying problem in windows 10 when using microsoft edge. You take the scroll wheel down a bit and its very easy to lose track of the slider itself.

Is there a way to make it darker?

Before the usual "use Chrome!" comments, I'm going to second this. When I'm at work and using edge, that scroll bar is irritating as hell. I hope this thread brings you an answer.
 
might be you display settings. mine looks fine.
edit: you could try dark mode or another theme too.
