I'm currenlty using 1 x 120mm Akasa Amber front and same for rear.

Now the upper HDD cage is currently not in use so I took it out and have fitted a internal 120mm Akasa Amber via a Zalman fan bracket cooling the upper right motherboard area.

Now it seem that I will have to install the HDD cage so that I'm able to install more than my current 5 x HDD.

Im now worried that thoose HDD wont have any cool air flow over them.

So.....

I was wondering if it would be a positive thing to add two 120mm ambers to the window for extra cooling?

One in both the X areas

Top X is cooling 2-3 HDD plus some of the Frezzer 64 HSF, where as the bottom X is cooling the Northbridge and a little of thr GFX.

Mostly worried about upsetting the air flow, but I'm pretty sure that it's going to have a positive effect, more so seeing as the fact that side of the case in winter gets some very cold air :p

All my fans are controlled for noise, but the Ambers really aren't a noise worry.

Could you tell everyone where you got that case if you live in the US? I cannot find that case anywhere yet I want that case for my next PC build

Thanks

Sorry mate, live in the UK.

If people want to pay for the product + delivery over to the USA via myself I could ship them for you.

Ch!lledBudwei2er -
I sent you a PM, don't know if you got it. Just wondering if you really are willing to ship one of those Akasa Eclipse-62 cases over seas. I would love to get one.

There should be sales of these available in the US... I bought my one from the US (and i'm from the UK) before the Akasa Eclipse was even being sold.

The Akasa Eclipse is a rebadged Globalwin YCC-61F1-B made by a taiwanese firm called YCC.

Do a search for that or contact YCC or Globalwin directly and they should be able to help you, they are very friendly chaps and they offered me a huge discount when I bought mine to cover the cost of international shipping and custom charges..

I found the Akasa Eclipse-62 (the silver one) at an online retailer that sells to the US but it is badged as a Globalwin YCC-61F1 (like J-Pepper said):

I contacted people at computernerd.com, Globalwinusa.com and YCC (yccjs.com) and they all told me that it was impossible to sell one of the black cases to me (YCC-61F1-B) in the states. Getting it in black isn't a huge deal but it'd be nice (and is it really too much to ask?). Anybody have any other suggestions?
