Did you get an email? I wasnt sure if this would work or not.

You should get a message in My eBay with a link to claim the cashback. It takes a day or so for it to show up under the live site.

correct. i ordered my stuff last night, and it was in there by noon today.

this might be a stupied question. why does it say like this ? Buy It Now with PayPal and you may get cashback. seeing the word "may" there is a chance I won't get it right ?

Yes. Some Buy it Now auctions do not use PayPal so Cash Back will not work. An example would be anything from Buy.com (user Buy). If it shows you a total amount of cash back at the end of the buying process (always located at the bottom right just before you submit your order) then it will work.

It takes about a day usualy before it shows up, that said my cashback showed up this morning :) Just take screenshots of your reciept of payment showing the cash back amount. In order for this to work, the cashback ammount should be displayed after you select "buy it now".

I've been reading about the HP LP2475w and for $650+ I found it to be to expensive for my taste. So after finding the monitor on Ebay and using the 30% back it brought it down to a reasonable $455. Not too bad.

God live.com is slow. Was going to buy the X-FIles collection and save $45, but I can't even get a search to load. Damn.

I got a new camera for a cruise im going on, the Olympus 1030sw which is waterproof to 33ft for 309$ new came with a ~92 cashback. I also bit on a e8500 earlier that was 170$ that i got ~51$ cashback. Not bad on either I guess.

$200 cash back limit per transaction (so a $666 purchase), $2500 max total for 1 year period, and 6 transactions per eBay account.

and the 30% is still going this morning.... I just bought a Canon Powershot G9 for $400 and will be getting $120 back on it. :D

u are saying we are only limited to having 6 transactions per year per ebay account? doesnt that mean consumers have their best interest in purchasing items of only higher value, instead of items of lower value like say in the double digits? just wanna get the details straight because i just bought a 50$ item to get 15$ cash back as a test. i suppose i should only buy high dollar items now?

Just picked up a Q9550. I was debating it for so long because I didn't want to pay >$300 for a cpu, but this brought it down to $240 after cash back. =]

glad to see it back up... now I got to find something to buy again. Not sure if I've used all 6 already though. Unfortunately 2 guys had canceled my orders before or I needed to get refunds :( but they still counted them as transactions back when the limit was 3 and it wouldn't let me do any more.

On another note...

Guys I signed up for the MS account using my hotmail email, then I was brought to "filling my information" page, with the box for my email already filled with my hotmail email address, then I changed it with my email that I use for my paypal. is this fine ?

I don't think it matters what emails you use. My Live account is under gmail, my paypal account is under AOL.

When you get your cash back email/ebay message, you'll fill in what Live.com account you have. At least that's what I expect them to do.

*UPDATE* It doesn't ask you to confirm anything. Now I'm confused.

Do you need to use your paypal id (email address) as your live login?

Does the cashback get credited to the account you were logged in as (Live.com)? I'm confused how you link your ebay purchase to your live.com account.

How long did it take for the cash back to show up as pending? I ordered the stuff yesterday morning and still haven't received any update but I did get the mail through which I used a link to get to my live cash back account.

this is correct... as long as you get the message during checkout, it will appear in your ebay inbox in the next couple days, and then once you click that one, it can take awhile for it to appear on live.com.

It can be nerve racking.

Answered my own question. When you get the message/email, it will have a link called "Get Cash back." When you click it, it will ask you to either create a new cashback account or log in to an existing one. This step will link your paypal purchase to your live account to be credited.

hey guys, in the terms and conditions, it says a maximum of 200$ per online session, and that you are limited to 6 online sessions per account. but why does it matter that in the paragraphs after that, it states limited to $2,500 per year? i mean i would assume that the maximum is already reached at $1200, so is there something else going on that im not aware about?

is it a waste to buy items too far under the optimal ~$666 since itll only be 6 purchases allowed? how are some of you able to get around this rule?

Yep - nothing in the rules disallows having multiple eBay accounts and many people do. I have one as a sellers account, one as a buyers account, my wife has her own account. All three tie into my PayPal account.

I chose the create a new cashback account using with my hotmail email (that email is considered a windows live) then after that I was brought to a page where I should enter my information, first name, last name, email, phone number etc. The box is already filled automatically with my hotmail email, but then I changed it with the email of my paypal. is this ok ?

Non-ebay cash backs.

Just bought a Zune 120gb for $265 and got $80 back. It'll hopefully be here on monday.

Dell Mini 9 arrived today! (overnight shipping) I await my $126 cashback patiently.

Thanks OP!

Am I just dumb in the months this has been available I've never gotten this to work.

I have my live account signed in, I type, "wii" "cheap ps3" "ps3" and I see no mention of eBay or anything near 30% cash back, I've clicked the links for the items and see nothing but links to other no-name stores.

WTF, it's like everyone else in the world gets this but me and I'm a cheap bastard when it comes to this stuff, I was fatwalleting since the beginning of time!

Don't search on live.com/cashback, just do a regular search on live for cheap wii.
