ebay heatsink lapping kits?

Are you having temp problems? If you want to lap, get some high grit sandpaper and a sanding block.
 
no..well, my temps are 40C at idle and 55ish load. Spring break is coming, so I'll have time to mess around with my computer (lap, mod my case, etc..). I've seen some reviews and how-to's for lappng, but they require liek 8 sheets of sand paper from 400 grit to 2000 grit. At my local ace hardware, home depot, thats a lotta $$ and lots of extra sand paper that i'll end up never using. So, i'm just wondering if this kit on ebay will actually do the job.
 
Looks like your board is reading higher than normal temps, your idle temp is a little high. you have a good heatsink. Not sure if you'll get a big difference in temps by lapping the hs.

You can try getting the kit. For $4.77 it's cheap and nothing much to lose.
