Well, I no long have a watercooling system in my case (got rid of it when I upgraded to an Athlon 64 setup) so I'm back to air cooling for now...
The the CPU didn't come with a heatsink, so I bought this Thermaltake Venus 12
installed:
I thought it might help if I ducted air directly to the cpu from outside the case, so i also bought these:
http://www.frozencpu.com/cpu-tta-11.html]ThermalTake 80mm Ducting Mod[/URL]
and
FrozenCPU.com Black Thermalhood Overclocking Kit
i wanted to duct air from the front of the case like this diagram, but the expandable duct was not long enough.
so, i ended up doing this:
thanks to the front intake duct, i'm now getting 3c lower at idle, and 7c lower at load. not too bad!
also, i was thinking of taking it a step further and doing something like this:
buy this heatsink
http://www.frozencpu.com/images/products/detail_hires/cpu-tta-20.jpg
and then set it up like this....cold air in, hot air out:

(after i made that diagram i realized this heatsink mounts with the openings on the sides, not top and bottom, but you get the idea.
just thought i would share
