How to check the FPS speed. Some one responded "use fraps or the console depending on the game" I dont understand wat this means. Sry im so ignorant can someone clear it up plz. Thnx.

When they say 'games', they mean games such as Quake3, Unreal 2004, MOHAA, etc, that have their own stat fps. Depending on the game, you'd pull the console down by hitting ~ usually, then type something like cg_drawfps 1 in Q3 based games or stat fps under Unreal 2004. When they talk of 'Fraps', they're talking about the small utility that measures framerates rather reliably under ANY game. It's what I use. It's available for direct download at this link http://www2.fraps.com/FRAPS225.EXE. All you have to do is, install any game you'd like to test frames on, then install Fraps, run it minimized, and voila. It'll appear in the corner of your screen.
