Earbuds not connecting to my phone correctly

So I just bought these earbuds/hearing protection for motorcycle riding from Big Ear. The problem is that it doesn't work with my Samsung Galaxy S10 but works with my husband's. It's quite frustrating because I tried plugging every earbuds I have in the house in my phone and each of them works. I tried calling Big Ear too and they said their products work on both ios and android devices. Could this be a bug?

So these are wired ear buds with the 3.5mm headphone jack and you can't get sound out of them when you plug them in? Not sure what could be wrong if every other set of earbuds work on your phone and you tested these specific ear buds on your husband's phone that's the same model. Does your phone even recognize that something is plugged in and try to route audio to the buds instead of the speakers?
