Started ripping using EAC + Flac..
What bit rate should I use..256 or 320 or higher. Will I notice any difference?

You don't specify a bit rate with FLAC. For lossless encoders, the "bit rate" field serves no purpose.

EAC gives me the option to compress or not to. At that point I can choose what kBits to choose. If I don't compress then it rips at 1.1.
Maybe I am looking at the wrong thing.
I am using.. Exact Audio Copy V0.99 prebeta 4 (including CDRDAO and Flac packages) last changed on 24.01.08

Did you change the compressor to flac? I think it defaults to mp3

Yes I did..If I don't compress it rips at about 650meg. when I rip in flac with compression about half that. Have you used the new EAC it comes with Flac..the older EAC you had to install Flac separately.
