EA Weak on Steam

When I bought BF2:BC no one was playing it online. Is everyone playing the Vietnam expansion or is the community dead now?

huh?

There are at least like 30+ full server........

What are you talking about?

I got gifted Medal of Honor: Straight up Dog Time
Steam is such a fun little way to say I love you. My girl spoils me. :D

It is cheaper to buy Bad Company 2, BC:Vietnam and the SPECTACT upgrade at this Steam sale than it is to buy BC:Vietnam solo for the retail version (US$19.99 for Aussies wtf). Fucking EA.

Same thing happened last time Crysis package was on sale ($13 last time). They ran out of keys.

BC2 is definitely GOTY 2010 for me as well. I have over 210 hours logged on that game. So much fun

If you don't already own BFBC2, buy it, it's well worth the price and the servers still have people.

How is BC2 single player ?

It's neither good nor bad. It's just...there.

It's useful for getting a hang of vehicles and bullet travel before diving into multiplayer but if you want it solely for single-player I'd wait until it's even cheaper or just ignore altogether.

Crysis works now. :) I played for about 15 minutes, seems kinda boring. The game starts in windowed mode, do you all play it this way? I have a Radeon 6870, so I might leave it in windowed mode. I don't want my pc to catch fire. :)

Easily my favorite FPS ever, so weighing in at under 7 bucks...best deal ever.

I think if $6.80 is still too expensive then maybe you should find another hobby :p

Even though I quoted the price, I tend to think in terms of bandwidth. Then I remember most people here don't live at the bottom of the world like I do.

I picked up BFBC:2, BFBC:2 - Vietnam and BF2.... all for a little over $19.... not bad.

You have to go into the graphics options and choose [ ]Full Screen Mode. You can't even change the resolution, or at least I couldn't, until you do that and then exit and go back into the game. I bought it and played this weekend and just passed the extraction point. Having a lot of fun with it after not finishing the first time I played.

Not really a question of whether it's affordable, but whether there's actually $7 worth of single player in there. And if you ask me, there's probably not...
