I just bought an E8400 and a P5Q Pro. Now my question is when I installed AI Suite and i'm monitoring the CPU Speed it keeps jumping from 2.0GHZ to 3.0GHZ, and the multiplier is changing from 6 to 9. Does it change the multiplier when i'm using less then a certain percentage? is there any way to fix this within AI Suite? Thanks in advance

Yea, basically that is Intel's power saving feature. It automatically throttles down the CPU when idle/not doing anything CPU intensive.

Doing what nissanztt90 said will basically force the multiplier to stay at 9.

Just want to add...despite manually setting the ratio, having C1E enabled will still drop it back down to the 6x multi.
