Just curious what would be normal for this chip and what would be high, currenty haven't seen it go above 55 but im used to my old amd 64 x2 being 30 under load with stock cooler
 
Throttling temps is 95c (measured with Realtemp).
I try and stay 20C below that.
 
oh cool, so I'm fine, I dont plan to oc the thing for some time. so 55c at max load is fine then? Idles at 43-45
 
Yeah thats fine.
Your idle temp is probably a lot lower than 43C, the temp sensors are only calibrated to be correct at TjMax.
 
TjMax is the temp at which the CPU will start to self throttle /slow itself down because it is too hot.
You shouldnt run at TjMax and there is no defined limit to say how much less than TjMax you should run at.
I have imposed my own limit of at least 20C under TjMax.
