e8400 or e7200 for HTPC?

I'll be building an HTPC for movies and light gaming soon. A few days ago I got in on the e8400 deal ($149, got an E0). Now the e7200 is on sale for $80. Should I return the e8400? I won't be overclocking much and I doubt the extra power will be noticeable.

if so,would you be willing to sell it for that same $150?

let us know because an e8400 e0 in a htpc is kind of a waste

And @ the op 8400 is a waste for htpc, look at the e5200 instead of the 7 for media center if you can get it for even lower

Now the e7200 is on sale for $80.

What a great deal! My e7200 is running at 3.90ghz right now. I wish I had only paid $80 for it, but I paid the full $120 when it came out. Ah well. Still, that's a great deal on a great chip.

If you can sell the e8400 for $150, go for it! Save the $$$.

yeah with the htpc a 7200 would do just fine. return the 8400 or sell it and save the money.

i guess you're stuck with the e8400 as the e7200 is already sold out.
