Well i have read guides on overclocking but it seems to be more confusing with my dfi dk p35 mobo. Can anyone help me out?All i want for now is to get the e8200 to 3.6 which i think should be fairly reasonable of an OC.So like i said any help will be welcomed.

Yeah i read both of those guides but i still cant seem to get my system to post when trying for a FSB of 450.Can anyone with a e8200 tell me what i have to set everything at to get it to 3.6?

Have you set the memory dividers? What memory are you using?

With the right divider, your memory should be able to run as low as 450mhz with the 1::1 divider. You would need RAM capable of running that fast.

Yeah i have the memory set to 1:1.This is the ram I'm using http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231122 I actually didnt realise i was only haveing the cpu vcore at 1.15 according to cpuz.Man the volt settings are confusing. So right now i am going to get the volts to about 1.27 and see if i can boot into windows. Also what should the NB core be set at?Right now i think i have it at 1.37 or 1.32.

Ok so yeah my core voltage was way to low.I put it up to 1.26 and put the fsb to 430 and eveything is running stable and fast.I didnt realise how much faster ocing the cpu would make the computer.Well now i am going to see what I can set the volts to acheive 450 fsb and beyond.I cant wait to see how far i can go.

what I have found with my DFI board (P35-T2RS) is that VID (Vcore) is the most important voltage setting. Right behind that comes VRAM (Vmemory).

Its very confusing especially some other boards use VTT to denote core voltage.

Good luck!

Yeah that seems like the case.Only thing with the ram voltage is it is rated 1.8-1.9 by the manufacturer but that doesnt mean thats as high as it can go safely right?

2.1-2.3+ depending how far you want to take it, applies only to decent/good ram.
