I did do a search and my question that I have was not answered. I am going to be doing alot of photo editing, some gaming,(although not much as my interests have changed) and some online tv watching. In y'alls expert opinion, which proc would be the more useful for my app?

The quad would probably be more useful for photo editing, especially if you overclock it.
 
I would have to say that the quad core would be better for photo editing, and some games.

Otherwise the dual core for tv and most other games.

It really depends if your going to overclock, and if your going to use stock cooling or aftermarket.
 
I was going to just use stock cooling and not over clock. I like my systems to be as stable as possible.
