E7400 and Temps safe?

I just got my Core 2 Duo E7400 yesterday. With my friend basicly saying 'go easy with the overclocking'. So I did. I boosted it from 2.80GHz to 3.00GHz and it ran well. I then raised it to 3.20GHz all using nTune's Reference Clock (FSB). Its now sitting at 305 MHz.

I ran IntelBurnTest for about an hour and I came back to see my temps hovering near 70'c. The maximum I've seen it went was 69'c. But dropped down almost right away to 67'c. Is this safe? Safe as in this will not harm the CPU if played for about.. 5 hours straight?

I'm also using the standard Intel heatsink. With a 120mm fan pointing right at the processor.

Other information:
eVGA nForce 610i NF70
350W Antec PSU
PNY GeForce 9600 GT
2x 1GB Corsair ValueRam PC2-6400 Single Channel

Was monitoring my computer with CPU-Z, Speedfan and IntelBurnTest's Freeze Check.

That's about right with a stock heatsink. If you want to go higher, you might want to get an aftermarket heatsink, with which there are tons to choose from. Can I ask what batch#, S-spec and pack date of your CPU?
 
Temp is in line with what you would expect with stock HSF. If you went to an aftermarket cooler, you could do much more. And 2.8 to 3.0 ghz isn't a big overclock on that chip, 2.8 to 4.5 is. :D

2.8 to 3.0 isn't a big OC, that I know. But to me it is. Considering I -never- OC'd my Processor outside of my Pentium D 820 before I got this one. So 2.8 to 3.2 is a good OC. Atleast from my view. Its a good processor none the less!
