if you're on a budget build, you might consider the E2180 and overclock it to hell, that's what i did (2ghz-->3.2ghz), and it was $60. otherwise you may as well go all the way to an E8400.
 
Well, I am trying to see the best I can get for ~130-150, so the E8400 is out of the question. If I was spending that much, I'd get a Q6600.

Also, I had an E2160 before, I don't really want another.

My E7200 is amazing, is totally stable at 1.4v @ 4ghz. Just by touching the FSB and vcore. Easiest overclock ever imo.

Agreed. I bumped mine up to 3.16ghz with absolutely no effort and its running great with the stock cooler. I could go higher but really don't need to since this is a major improvement over my Opteron 165. If you're on a budget this is the processor to get.
