I need a server mobo. I don't understand the difference between the server mobo and the desktop model. The line seems to be drawn just to milk a few bucks out of you.
The ideal situation is the mobo has onboard vid and 2 nics. But the server mobos are so damned expensive (AND WHY???). I could very well go with a normal mobo with onboard vid and add another network card with a riser card.
My budget is less than a hundred bucks. Any advice? I have been on pricewatch all day and I have a headache now trying to keep up with all the difference chipsets. I am in Cali.
