E6850 question

I'm currently using the ASUS P5K Premium Black Pearl Edition and it worked without updating the BIOS. I updated it anyways though.

Anything that's advertised as having native 1333FSB support.

Umm most asus board do. Older motherboards need the newest bios. But do support the 1333.

I do recommend Asus p5k Deluxe

I'm using the Intel DP35DP motherboard with my e6850. It doesnt allow OC'ing though, and requires your ram run at 1.8v. I like it though.

Look in my sig. using Gigabyte GA-p35 DQ6 and this mobo although pricey screams quality. Don't take it from me, read the online user reviews at newegg.
