like damned vultures. LOL I am after 1 as well but will wait for newegg cause they carry Lian-Li cases.

I feel like a screwed up by not ordering it while having the chance. Newegg will likely sell out by the time I get off work 2morrow. :( I think I should just order my other parts now and jump on the E6850 when I see it and adjust shipping to make them arrive around the same time.
 
Well, I went ahead and ordered everything but the processor. When its available on Monday, I'll make my order for it. No use in worrying about other parts selling out with the rush.
 
antaresdigital has good reviews on pricewatch, but i'm still gong to wait for the new-egg sale to see if they release it with something like maybe $10 more, but a free game or something :)

I pretty much already have all my new PC parts except the processor, so a bundle would be worthless for me, but a good game would not :) Or, being smart, understanding that people have the best opportunity to switch OSs during processor changes, they'd offer something like Vista for a deep discount when bought with the new processor... as long as its not the OEM shit that is restricted to 1 install per hardware configuration, ever.
 
for all of you guys that already have your pc parts ready to go w/ this, what mobo did you buy? that is still up in the air for me...i've got everything else!
 
I just ordered the gigabyte P35 DS3R to go along with the e6850. I really like it for the price considering I'll never do SLI. Now I'm just waiting for the 6850 to go on sale at newegg.
 
I also got the EVGA 680i A1.
It has true x16 on two PCIe so it's great for SLI.
 
It's good to see that some of the E-Tailers are listing and selling the new cores, not like some of the big names and holding out trying to make the last buck off the unknowing...............:eek:
 
I just placed my order for my Q6600 for about $273 @ MWave. Right now they are the best priced in terms of the q6600 that I've seen so far. Pretty damn close to $266 so I can't complain. Should be here in about 3 - 4 days :D .

The egg may be playing games but they are still selling outta their stuff, looks like people either really, REALLY like the egg or they just are lazy and don't know how to look elsewhere.
 
I hate this game we have to play, do I order from mwave now at 271 or will it be cheaper elsewhere if i wait...... or will it sell out and go higher in price due to demand then i won't be able to buy it anywhere cause theres none left.... bah
