E6750 Reviewed

Theres like a half dozen review already out for it.

Apparently its going to be the new star overclocker. One review claiming it easily got it 3.9Ghz on air.
We'll see.
 
I don't see what the point is for an enthusiast to get a "50" series c2d if they don't overclock any higher than the stuff that came out a year ago

Never said there was any harm. I was just making the commend because you only listed one review site and there are about 6 listed on the OCP home page.

2 things : 1-G0 stepping, which is rumored to overclock better than the B2 stepping. 2- Same multiplier as the E6420.

Both of them make it great, putting the E64X0 into the trash bin.

Yeah, and having bought an e 6420 2 months ago, I still don't mind. It'll go to my son for his 7th birthday and dad gets a shiny new q6600. The 6750 looks like a helluva oc'er, but 4 slightly slower cores > 2 cores. PpD ftw



 
for some reason i thought this was coming out JUNE 22nd, and i really want it to come out soon so i can get my new computer (no point in not waiting it out so i can get a faster FSB cpu to match my faster ram).
