I'm building a system for a buddy and he wanted it overclocked. No big deal, been there done that. I've been spending the last week tweaking to find the sweet spot for this setup. I thought I had it last night, but Prime95 teased me this morning. It ran 12hrs, 56mins small FFT's before one core got an error. So much for my belief in the 12hr rule. Just a little frustrating, that's all.

Here's his setup:
E6750 (was at 490FSB, 1.45V, 7x multiplier)
Asus P5K SE mobo
G.Skill 2x2GB DDR2 1000 (was running at 980 1:1, 5-5-5-15, 2.1V)
500W Antec Earthwatts power supply
Tuniq tower (56* C max load via coretemp)
eVGA 512MB 8800GT (PCI-E locked at 100MHz)

I don't really want to throw much more voltage at it at this point (I think 1.45v is a bit high for the given speed, vdroop puts it at 1.376v at full load.) I would like to keep it running 1:1 to take advantage of the high speed memory. Should I drop the FSB or throw a little more voltage at her? Or should I switch gears- put the multi back up to 8x and work on that instead? (had worked my way down to 450x8, still errored after a couple hours)
