I am wondering if any of you have experienced this?
When i open some video files it acts like they are going to open them after double clicking. Then after a moment the hourglass goes away, then nothing??? If you double click them again, then they open normally. If you also open two or three clips when they move to the next clip usually they freeze for an excessive amount of time before moving down the playlist.
I notice it with all these break and ebaum videos the worst. Mpg's seem to work pretty well, but they do it occasionally. Wmv do this freeze, work crap alot, its not just once a day, but like 8 out of 10 times regularly. I thought maybe it was just wmp having trouble switching codecs. Reinstalled windows and made sure i selected acpi multiprocessor as i had just switched cpus as a longshot last attempt since my celeron backup had worked fine in this rig. The celeron doesnt do this, but it is single core, i put it back in to check. I cant tell if its because of it being a goofy dual core design or i got a defective OEM CPU.
