how fast is a q6600 vs a e6600? any real world information?
 
There's another forum online THat Goes <hint, hint> by a name that's been around a long time and they have some rather nice and relatively CPU benchmark comparisons that are easy to use. Click one CPU type and speed, click the comparison CPU type and speed, then pick a benchmark and it spits out a chart with the info.

THat Guy's <hint, hint) website was just purchased a few months back soooo... I didn't want to flat out advertise that site but, if you're paying attention you should have enough info to know what site it is. :D

The CPU comparisons can be accessed from the home page of THat Guy's <hint, hint> site.
