E6600 users, what are you using for RAM?

what DDR2 speed are you all using? DDR2 5400?

i'm trying to find some ram for an Asus P5W DH Deluxe, (need this board for crossfire, and to drop a quadcore in later, unless someone can suggest another) 2GB....

suggestions?

I'm running corsair XMS2 pro 6400 4-4-4-12 2 x 1gb. Played very nice with my P5W Dh dlx, running 1:1 at the moment. The sticks are not the best overclockers however, I cant get these things past 820mhz for the life of me, not to mention they were pretty pricey. I think there are bettter/cheaper options out there though, just my 2 cents.

CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)

Ive got a 6600 running at 3.4.

G Skill F2-6400PHU1-1GBHZ DDR2 800. Glad i got them when they was way cheaper.:)

Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 PC2 6400 at 4-4-4-12

I haven't over clocked my processor yet though, just built the computer today

Corsair Dominator TWIN2X2048-6400C4D XMS 2 (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz PC6400.

Running at 4-4-4-8 timings.

I only have it at 666 mhz on the FSB though, enough to let me hit my 3.0 ghz goal.

Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 PC2 6400 2x 1GB RAM, 5-5-5-12. They run at 4-4-4-12 on the stock voltages. I think these are a popular pair because they're Corsair's cheapest 2x 1GB set of DDR2-800 RAM on NewEgg. Supposedly they don't overclock well, though. I got mine for $200, so I'm happy, but the price keeps going up.

OCZ Gold GX XTC 5400 2GB (2x1)
Currently running them at 740 with 4-4-4-12 settings.
I have taken them higher at 5-5-5-15 settings, did not find their limit.

Hocus pocus, i had a pair of 512 OCZ ddr2 6400 gold sticks and they were awesome. The only fault that i found was that it took some work to get them to play nice with some motherboards, asus especially. I was running them @ 892mhz with a p4 660. OCZ seem unpopular though, strange..

Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 PC2-6400 4-4-4-12.

Runs great, i can get some really high overclocks.

I use 2GBs of Patriot PC6400 on my 680i setup and it's strolling right along @ 3.5GHz on air cooling.

I am running 2 GB (2x1GB) sticks of Corsair Dominator Ram.

DDR2 800 Cas 4-4-4

Setup is Running E6600 @ 3.6GHz (400x9) FSB 1600MHz on Air Zalman CU9700

Ram is running at 800MHz Even, Cas 4-4-4-10

I havent tried to push it any futher

I have an e6600 on an ASUS P5N-E SLI using Corsair XMS 6400C4 at 800 Hz.

The 6600 is currently at 3.2Ghz but Ive just begun to play with it.:D

G.Skill 2GB HZ ram @ 4/4/4/10 2.25Vdimm @ DDR1000
meh...my mobo doesnt have a 2.25v option..instead i have to put 2.3v on these babys :(
hmmm...I should try that 4,4,4,10 :D

My stuff runs 4:5, 499MHz or DDR998

i know im an E6400 user, but im still in the intel family...lol i suggest what most people in here already have and i have at least 2GB Dual Channel of Corsair XMS2 DDR2 PC6400 800MHz C3 series..for about $240 for the dual channel set you cant go wrong..great ram i have mine OC @ 955MHz from the stock 800mhz..its a great overlclocking ram...my 3DMark03 and 05 got really impressive higher test scores when overlocked

Does anyone know if there is one manufacturer that has better warranty/rma service than the other?

G.Skill
Patriot
Corsair
Crucial
OCZ

i have a asus dh delux and using corsair pc5400c4xmspro rated at 667. i have my memory @375. fsb @ 1501. ratio 1:1. processor is e6400 running at 3.0. i would push it higher but that's okay for now. i know there is alot more room left.

infin@, yes I have been very pleased with my OCZ sticks. At the time I bought them, people did seem to be down on OCZ for C2D, but for the most part that seemed to be related to the DDR2-800 stuff. I actually wanted to pick up some Patriot mem, but it was sold out at that time and the OCZ had a rebate which made it slightly cheaper than the Patriot, so I took a chance. No regrets.

Anyone? The prices on all of this RAM is pretty close so I'm looking for one of these manufacturers to have a good replacement policy/good warranty if a stick does fail such as cross shipping, not waiting a week for your RMA to be processed etc....
