I know there are all these other threads (and the big all C2D OC thread) but I'm looking for some specific E6600 settings for successful Overclocks.

I have everything in my new build picked out except for MOBO and RAM (will get the E6600)

If people could post in this thread their E6600 Core2 Duo setup and any relevant settings and their successful Overclocks it would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know what all categories to include, suggestions welcome!

I'm running 356x9 now (3.2GHz). This is as high as I could get with dual prime stable and not increasing the Vcore any more than 1.45v (I did it a few times, but the temps were too high, 60c under orthos).

Can someone help me with my e6600 and P5B? I'm new to overclocking and want to get the most performance out of my system.

Corsiar XMS2 DDR-6400 Cas 5

I tried pushing the FSB up by 25mhz but the system woudnt boot. I'm guessing I need some kind of memory divider but i'm not really sure.

Any help would be appreciated. If someone with a p5b could list their settings, that would be great.

I'm running 333x9 now (3.0GHz). Orthos dual stable after several hours, 50c mb temp, 29c idle, 41c load. I may try to go higher, at the moment the only settings i have changed are Cpu vcore voltage (+0.04) and the fsb (333).

2700 (9x300): Thats about as high as these nforce 4 chipsets (for intel at least) go. The chip seems to have a ton of OC room left, but i'm limited by the board. Guess thats the price you pay if you want "official" SLI Still incredibly fast. I'm amazed the memory is stable at 1000mhz!

I am still workin on this, my only prob is up to about 385FSB my board craps out and just won't post. Relax the ram, raise FSB/MCH volts, nope, doesn't budge, tried the different F3 bios', just gives me shit.

Still, 3204mhz on 1.4V is alright. Testing it right now on 1.375V, reckon its gonna do ok. Nice little chips, 800mhz overclock is better than the 300mhz I could get on my old AMD 4400, thats for sure.

Jeff, try these settings... I have a Commando but it should be similar...

under Extreme tweeking

Manual
fsb=350
mem=700
PCI-e 1110mhz
pci=33mhz
spread spec=disable
cpu volts=1.5v
fsb ter=1.5
nb vol=1.5v
sb sata pci ect=auto
SB v=1.2 ( you might not have this voltage )
Memory voltage=2.2v
leave everything after this at default
disable the last to manually set ram timings... start with 5-6-6-18....

Under cpu config

Enable ( to enable the multi's)
disable
disable vanderpool technology
enable
enable
disable

Thats all the important settings to get a decent overclock.... Im doing this on top of my head so I dont remember what the names are on the bios but it should look familiar......

I get 5.7 with the E6600 at 3GHz being the lowest scorerer, my Seagate 7200.10 HDDs get a 5.8 rating.
