I overclocked my E6600 to 3.00 GHz (333x9). Idles at 40 C and loads at 50 C (Coretemp readings).
The problem is this: When I try to run two instances of Orthos, one always seems to fail after a few minutes while the other one keeps running. When my vCore was set to Auto, it would fail after about 2 minutes and then the computer would restart. I then bumped up the vCore to 1.3v, and it still did that. I then bumped it up again to 1.325v, which I am currently using, and it still failed, though it didn't restart--I was able to run one instance Orthos overnight (8 hours). Is this a sign of instability? Should I keep raising the vCore or should I keep it as is? I was able to play 2 hours of Oblivion perfectly fine.
EDIT: I seem to have gotten it stable by raising the vCore just a bit more. Temperatures are now 42 idle/53 load.
