Heres the Deal Rig in my SIG!. I have RMA'd everything, but the processor.

If I overclock by as little as 1mhz I get a KERNEL-WHEA event ID2 error in event manager. As long as I leave the processor at 266X9 I never get the error.

The system is stable at 3.2 (356x9) or (400x8). I can run 2 instances of orthos for 24hrs. but when I will look in event manager and see this erroneous KERNEL WHEA error, but it never disrupted orthos.....

What should I do?

That would be nice if they offered a newer bios then 2004.......

I'm just graspping at straws to figure this out............

II've done that multiple times.

I've even tried it in IDE rather than raid.......

I guess I will have to load XP this weekend and rule VISTA out.

I looked at that link before posting here about this. I wish the stupid error would give more info on which hardware encountered the error, but it doesn't and I've replaced every piece of equipment except the processor.

Thanks for the input.
