Hi guys,

I just finished a new system, its the first one iver ever built and I used a lot of feedback from these boards to build it...

Anyways, its a e6600 on a badaxe2 w/2gigs corsair xms ram a antec 650w psu and a 8800gts 640mb... cooling seems gr8 I used a thermaltake armorjr. Case and fans...

Ok I run 3dmark06 and my score is just under 9k but when its doing the cpu tests it barely gets over 1fps... the averade on one test is like .655fps the other is 1.116fps... is this normal? Is something wrong? The box is about a week old

This is normal with 3dmark.. I get 1-3 FPS during cpu test. It's pathetic to watch.

the cpu is not designed for rendering those complex 3d scenes. that test will probably bring one of those 80-core Teraflop CPUs to its knees...
