This is my bro's current OC using an Abit IP35-E and stock cooler:

I haven't really tried to OC mine yet. When I first turned up the FSB from anything other than default the system wouldn't post at all. Even going from 333 to 334 it would refuse to post. I updated from bios 1.0 to 1.6 and I made a quick change to get the above OC. I haven't tried higher yet because i'm unsure of my heatsink.
 
The question is, what's with the Neo2-FR and it refusing to post at first?
 
Yeah, i think it was a bad bios or something. I turned it to 400fsb today and it booted right up without issue at all. Time to get a good cooler and see how high I can go!

my e6550 is at 3.3 /w voltage 1.375 stable.. im on a gigabyte p35-ds3r. my temps are 28 idle about 48 load. I was wondering what the voltage on ur brothers rig is, the one running at 3.5ghz
 
it shows in the CPU-z screen, 1.312 which I believe is stock voltage.
 
the board has a vdroop problem, go into bios and check the voltage there.

mine says 1.328 in cpu z when its at 1.375 in bios
