e6400 vs e6600

I would ignore the E6400 as it only has 2mb L2 cache, and for the exact same price at Newegg you can get the E6420 with 4mb L2 cache (same clock speed).

At the same time, for only about $40 more you can get the E6600 with close to 300 more mega-hurts...

I'd wait till 22nd July cos you might be able to buy a quad-core for the price of a E6600.

Just wait a little longer. It'll be worth it.

so guys, If you could buy the following options with only 5 dollar diffrence, which would you pick ?

E6600 $190 + Gigabyte S3 $65 (total $255)
E6400 $160 + Infinity 975X/G $90 (total $250)

which one would you pick ? thanks

dont look at the e6400. only look at the e6320/e6420/e6600 all with 4mb L2 cache.

6420 and the 975 chipset, might have greater compatiablity later then the 945 s3's chipset.
